The Educational Development Unit (EDU) is a key part of Durham University Business School’s learning and teaching strategy. The unit exists to facilitate innovation in learning and teaching across the School’s three sites, supporting the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for all of our students. This encompasses provision of professional support to both those colleagues delivering the School’s programmes and in the teaching methods/technologies they use. We are also here to support the next generation of academic faculty through our comprehensive training and development programme for Postgraduates Who Teach (PGWTs).
Our mission is to provide world-class learning experiences for all our students, achieved through innovation in teaching practices and educational technologies. We work hard to identify and implement effective solutions to the development needs of those colleagues delivering and managing the School’s programmes, ensuring the highest standards of professional service and support throughout.
